SEALANES REDEVELOPMENT
An invited design competition co-ordinated by Multiplex Living. The development property boasts 250 metres of land adjacent to South Beach in Fremantle, Western Australia. With a total site area of 2.5 hectares, the design solution arranged 50 individual town home sites and 100 apartments distributed into three buildings ranging in height from three to six storeys. Our solution seeks to disintegrate the super block and establish the notion of a neighbourhood, with building elements configured to take in ocean vistas and establish sympathy to adjacent developments and the passage of the sun. Urban spaces are richly layered landscaped walks - promoting casual access and reinforcing a sense of community ad place.
